I am a platform worker who will be receiving CPF contribution through my platform operator from 1 Jan 2025. How will my Government-Paid Leave Scheme (GPLS) claim be calculated?
Claim submitted under leave schemes
Your GPLS claim amount, which includes the CPF contribution made by platform operator(s) (PO), will be calculated based on the Notice of Assessment (NOA) that assess your income for the year when you took your first leave date. If this NOA is not available at the time of submission, the latest available NOA up to 2 years prior will be used.
The CPF contribution component of the claim amount will be computed based on the CPF contribution in the same period as the relevant NOA. Please refer to the example below.
Example of NOA used for computation of GPLS payment to platform worker receiving CPF contribution from PO and whose leave first starts in 2025
Year income was earned | NOA used for computation of GPLS payment | Period of CPF contribution made by PO | |
|---|---|---|---|
The year the first leave date was taken (i.e. Year X) | 2025 | NOA 2026 | Jan 2025 to Dec 2025 |
If NOA relating to year X was not available, NOA relating to Year (X-1) | 2024 | NOA 2025 | N.A. due to no CPF contribution from PO in 2024 |
If NOA relating to Year X and (X-1) was not available, NOA relating to Year (X-2) | 2023 | NOA 2024 | N.A.due to no CPF contribution from PO in 2023 |

Your claim amount will be based on the total income earned during the 12 months immediately before your child’s date of birth or Formal Intent to Adopt (FIA) date. For income earned as a platform worker, it will also include the CPF contribution made by platform operator(s).
