What are the ComLink+ Progress Packages?

The ComLink+ Progress Packages provide financial top-ups to recognise and supplement the efforts of ComLink+ families that work with family coaches to co-develop their action plans and take active steps towards their longer-term goals. 

 

The ComLink+ Packages will be trialled for three years and will focus on ComLink+ families’ key needs and aspirations in four areas:  

  1. Preschool education,  

  1. Stable employment,  

  1. Debt clearance, and  

  1. Home ownership.  

 

Families will need to fulfil specific actions for each package, in order to receive the corresponding financial top-ups. The actions and top-ups in each package are as follows:

1.

ComLink+ Package for Preschool

Ensure child is enrolled in preschool in the year he/she turns 3

One-off $500 top-up to child’s CDA

Ensure child attends preschool regularly from ages 3-6

$200 top-up to child’s CDA for every quarter of good attendance (​≥75% attendance)

2.

ComLink+ Package for Employment

Secure and/or sustain CPF-paying job that pays ​≥ $1,600 per month

Up to two working adults will receive a combination of cash and CPF payouts (of between $450 and $550) for every three consecutive months of CPF-paying employment. If two adults are working, each will receive $50 more per quarter

 

Subject to total payout limit of $30,000 across ComLink+ Packages for Employment and Home Ownership

ComLink+ Package for Debt Clearance 

Repay debts owed to licensed companies

1:1 matched debt repayment – for every $1 that family repays to creditors, donors will pay $1 directly to creditors. Repayments will be matched up to a limit of $5,000 in total debt repaid (i.e. donor-matched repayments of up to $2,500) 

 

Families can only benefit once from this package

ComLink+ Package for Home Ownership 

Make voluntary contributions to CPF

2:1 matched CPF contribution – for every $1 of voluntary contributions made to family member’s CPF account, $2 top-up will be made to the same family member’s CPF-Ordinary Account

 

Subject to total payout limit of $30,000 across employment and savings packages
