How can I appeal to qualify for the Large Families Scheme benefits?

Appeals will generally not be considered as eligibility[1] is assessed automatically based on your records with MSF and Myinfo. Please ensure that your details (e.g. Child Development Account (CDA) trustee information, contact details) are correct and accurately reflected on Myinfo and with MSF.

However, we will consider appeals for the Large Family MediSave Grant and increased CDA First Step Grant if the child’s estimated date of delivery (EDD) is on or after 18 February 2025 but was born earlier. Parents may write in to MSF at https://go.gov.sg/lfs-eddappeal with a copy of the doctor's certification.

For the Large Family LifeSG Credits (LFLC), eligibility will be assessed as of 1 August in 2025, and as of 1 March from 2026 onwards. Families must meet the eligibility criteria by the assessment date to receive LFLC the same year, and any changes in families’ eligibility that occur after this assessment date will only be taken into account for the following year’s LFLC disbursement.
