Will part-time employees be eligible for Shared Parental Leave (SPL)?

You are eligible for Shared Parental Leave (SPL) as long as you meet the eligibility criteria.

The number of weeks you can take depends on how you and your spouse choose to share the leave. Since you are working part-time, your SPL entitlement will be calculated based on the number of days you work each week.

For example, if you work 3 days a week and allocate 3 weeks of SPL to yourself, you will be entitled to 9 days of SPL.
