Will there be penalty fees incurred for late payment of the childminding fees? If yes, is the penalty fees CDA-deductible?
You should check directly with appointed operators regarding the payment terms. As CDA is intended to support the educational and development needs of children, parents can use their child’s CDA to pay for childminding fees only.
CDA cannot be used to pay for administrative fees or any other fees. For instance, (a) deposit/registration fee for the childminding services; (b) charges for processing CDA payments; (c) penalty fees for the late payment of childminding fees; and (d) penalty/bank charges for failed direct debits in the CDA.
