Do I need to pay a deposit to engage the childminding services? If yes, can I use the CDA to pay for the deposit?
You should check directly with appointed operators regarding the payment terms. As CDA is intended to defray the cost of childminding services, parents can use their child’s CDA to pay for childminding fees only. CDA cannot be used to pay for expenses such as deposits.
