I am a self-employed person and have submitted a claim under the Government-Paid Leave Schemes (GPLS). I made an error (e.g. wrong number of leave days). How do I amend my earlier claim?

If your amendment results in a change in the year that the first leave date was taken, we will reassess your amendment based on the latest relevant Notice of Assessment (NOA).*

If your amendment does not result in a change in the year that the first leave date was taken, you could request for an adjustment or a reassessment via the Government-Paid Leave (GPL) portal.

  • If you request for an adjustment, we will process your amendment based on the NOA used to process your earlier claim.

  • If you request for a reassessment, we will reassess your amendment based on the latest relevant NOA.*

Please note that should the recomputed claim amount from your amendment be lower than the claim amount previously paid out for the earlier claim, you will be asked to refund the balance.

*Information on the NOA used for computation of payment is provided here.
