What is Student Care Fee Assistance (SCFA)?
SCFA provides fee assistance for children attending Student Care Centre (SCC), aged 7 to 14 years old (Primary 1 to Secondary 2) in the calendar year and whose gross household income (GHHI) is $4,500 or less for families with 4 or fewer members, or per capita income (PCI) of $1,125 or less for families with 5 or more members in SCCs registered with MSF as SCFA administrators.
SCFA provides fee assistance for Special Student Care Centres (SSCC), aged 7 to 18 years old in the calendar year and whose gross household income (GHHI) threshold is $9,200 or less for families with 4 or fewer members, or a per capita income (PCI) of $2,300 or less for families with 5 or more members. From January 2027: SCFA provides fee assistance for children from working families whose gross household income (GHHI) is $6,500 or less for families with 4 or fewer members, or per capita income (PCI) of $1,625 or less for families with 5 or more members in SCCs registered with MSF as SCFA administrators.
