How will the wrongly charged GST for the application for Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA)/registration fees for Professional Deputy (PD) be refunded to me?
The default refund arrangement will be made via PayNow to the bank account linked to your NRIC/FIN number. If you do not have a PayNow-NRIC-linked bank account, but have previously provided your local bank account number to the Government for citizen disbursement schemes (e.g GST Voucher Scheme) you will receive the refund via bank transfer. No action is needed.
Otherwise, you can inform Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) about the bank account to credit the refund to. More details will be provided in the letter.
