What does Adult Protective Service do?

Since May 2025, Child Protective Service, Adult Protective Service and Children in Care have been integrated to form Protective Service. Protective Service is a statutory service that leads in the policies and processes to safeguard the safety and well-being of children, individuals, families and vulnerable adults experiencing violence, abuse or neglect, under the Children and Young Person's Act, Vulnerable Adults Act and the Women's Charter.
