In a deputyship, deputies appointed by the Court have been authorised to make certain decisions on behalf of person who lacks mental capacity. You must check if there are any specific clauses in the Court Order that authorise you to do so. Otherwise, you may wish to approach your lawyer to obtain a variation of the Court Order.
