What if the Donor wishes to make changes to his LPA during certification?

If the Donor would like to make changes to his/her draft LPA during the certification process with the CI, Donor must cancel the existing draft and make a new application. Donee(s) will have to accept the appointment in the new LPA. This is a safeguard to ensure that the appointed Donee(s) is aware of the changes made to the LPA. However, Donee(s) may accept the appointment for the new draft LPA at their convenience, and it is not necessary for the Donee(s) to be present before the CI unless the CI requests so. A notification will also be sent to the Donee(s) via SMS to prompt them to accept the LPA appointment in OPGO.
