My employee has provided a medical memo from doctor requesting for the employee to be on maternity leave earlier than 28 days before the date of delivery. Will I be reimbursed if I grant the employee maternity leave during that period?

In accordance with the Child Development Co-Savings Act and Employment Act, the maternity leave period should start no earlier than 28 days before the date of delivery, and no later than the date of delivery. Leave that is not within the stipulated period will not be reimbursed by the Government.
