What is the Student Care Financial Assistance (SCFA) eligibility criteria?
a) Both parents should each be working at least 56 hours/month;
b) The Gross household income is within $4500 or less for families with 4 or fewer members, or a per capita income (PCI) of or PCI of $1126* or less for families with 5 or more members.
c) Child aged 7 to 14 years old (attending Primary 1 to Secondary 2) in the year of application/ renewal.
d) Child is attending a SCC registered with MSF
e) Child is a Singapore Citizen, or Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) with at least one immediate family member Singapore Citizen in the same household.
*From January 2027: SCFA provides fee assistance for children from working families whose gross household income (GHHI) is $6,500 or less for families with 4 or fewer members, or per capita income (PCI) of $1,625 or less for families with 5 or more members in Student Care Centres (SCCs) registered with MSF as SCFA administrators.
