My ex-spouse and I are currently undergoing separation/divorce. I do not want my spouse to have access to my child or any of his/her information from the school. What should I do?

Unless there is a court order clearly stating that your child is in your sole custody, both you and your ex-spouse have the right to have access to your child and any information pertaining to your child. We seek your understanding that the centre is not in a position to refuse either party's requests. For consistency, it is recommended that you and your ex-spouse provide and endorse a common set of written instructions to the centre regarding your preferred arrangements until a time when a court order can be obtained.
