Does the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) take responsibility from children away from their parents and give more authority to the government?

On the contrary, the CRC upholds the importance of parents' role. The CRC places responsibility on the government to protect and assist families in fulfilling their essential role as nurturers of children.
