What do foster parents do?

msf-logo
Updated by MSF

Children may have been removed from their birth families due to safety concerns and be in need of care and protection that fostering can provide. Under the fostering scheme, foster parents provide these children in need with a safe and stable family environment.

Besides necessities like food, clothing, and shelter, foster parents also provide love, care and nurturance and a positive experience on how family members show care and concern for one another. Our hope is for the children to grow healthily and to fulfil their potential.
