The child must be a Singapore citizen to be eligible for Baby Bonus Scheme. If you and your spouse were not Singapore citizens at the time of your child's birth and your child subsequently becomes a citizen, the Baby Bonus Benefits will be pro-rated according to the date of your child's citizenship.
