Can I withdraw the Child Development Account (CDA) funds to pay for my child's insurance rider?
To be in line with rules for use of Medisave for healthcare insurance, CDA can only be used to defray the premiums for Medisave-approved Integrated Shield Plans, and not for riders. Riders are not part of Integrated Shield Plans, and do not meet the Ministry of Health’s requirements to be Medisave-payable.
