Can I use my child’s Child Development Account (CDA) to pay for his/her early intervention programmes (EIP)?
The CDA can be used for EIPs which are offered at early intervention centres (EIC) or by childcare centres, preschools and kindergartens, e.g. learning support, developmental support, developmental support-plus, integrated childcare programme and inclusive support programmes, that are Baby Bonus Approved Institutions.
“Early intervention programme (EIP)” means a programme, intended for children with one or more developmental needs, that is registered with the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF). MSF only registers early intervention programmes for children up to 6 years old.
