Is there any age limit for a child to use the Child Development Account (CDA) for early intervention programmes (EIP)?
Children attending MSF-registered EIPs offered by early intervention centres (EICs), childcare centres, kindergartens or preschools that are Baby Bonus Approved Institutions can use the CDA to pay for basic fees and approved incidental charges, up to the end of the year in which the child turns 6 years old. The list of approved incidental charges at EIPs is detailed under Appendix 2 of the Approved Person/Approved Institution Terms and Conditions.
“Early intervention programme (EIP)” means a programme, intended for children with one or more developmental needs, that is registered with the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF). MSF only registers early intervention programmes for children up to 6 years old.
