Can I use a joint account to apply for Child Development Account?

The Child Development Account (CDA) is a special savings account for the child to help build up the savings that can be spent on approved uses.

It is not a regular savings account and can only be held jointly in the name of the child and the nominated CDA trustee. The CDA will be opened for the child after the child has enrolled on the Scheme.

You can check your child’s eligibility and Baby Bonus Benefits on the [Baby Bonus Online] (http://www.babybonus.msf.gov.sg/) portal, using the Check Eligibility (https://go.gov.sg/bbeligibilitycheck). , or check the benefits using Family View (https://go.gov.sg/bbfamilyview) followed by “View Statement”, if your child has enrolled.
