Can I use a joint account to apply for Child Development Account?

The Child Development Account (CDA) is a special savings account for the child to help build up the savings that can be spent on approved uses.

It is not a regular savings account and can only be held jointly in the name of the child and the CDA trustee. The CDA will be opened for the child after the child has enrolled on the Scheme.

For more information on your child’s eligibility for Baby Bonus Scheme and opening of CDA, you may visit LifeSG to find out more.
