The GPPL and GPPB do not apply to parents of a stillborn child. The intention of the additional leave and benefit is for parents to bond with and care for their newborn, and in respect of GPPL and GPPB, for fathers to be more involved in child-raising. Fathers of stillborn children can continue to tap on the existing 2 weeks of GPPL / GPPB.
