How can I request to reinstate my migrant domestic worker’s Work Permit or in-principle approval that is revoked due to levy default?
Before you proceed, please ensure you have:
- Paid all salaries owed to your migrant domestic worker (MDW)
- Paid the overdue levy bill in Check and pay foreign worker levy
After paying the levy, wait 1 – 2 days and check that it is updated in Check and pay foreign worker levy under the Payments tab.
Payment details will usually be shown in your account summary by the next day if payment is received by 10pm, and within 2 days for payments received after 10pm.
Once your payment is updated, proceed to apply for reinstatement online:
- Log in to FDW eService with your Singpass
- Click “Ask for reinstatement” on the right
- Pay $35 to reinstate your helper’s Work Permit. You can pay by Visa, Mastercard or PayNow.
If you encounter an error, submit a request to us:
