How many attempts do workers have to pass the Safety Orientation Courses (SOC), and what’s the deadline?

Updated by MOM

There is no limit on the number of attempts. However, workers who fail the SOC must pass within 3 months from the expiry date of their SOC to avoid work permit revocation.

For Construction SOC: Workers who fail CSOC must complete the full Apply Workplace Safety and Health in Construction Sites course and the WSH Microlearning Programme (MLP) before re-attempting the assessment.
