Why did MOM introduce the service fee refund policy?
The service fee refund policy was introduced to encourage EAs to take greater responsibility for their matching outcomes.
Premature termination of contracts is disruptive and costly to both employers and MDWs. As EAs play a crucial role in facilitating good matches between employers and MDWs, EAs that facilitate lasting employment relationships and provide quality services to employers would see fewer premature terminations and refunds.
