If you are taking paid maternity leave in a continuous block, and a public holiday falls during this period, payment for the public holiday is already included in your maternity leave pay. You will not receive additional public holiday pay.

If you are taking unpaid maternity leave in a continuous block, you will not receive public holiday pay during this entire period.
