How to Make Monthly Instalment Payments for DRS
You must make monthly instalment payments as part of your Debt Repayment Scheme (DRS). These payments help you pay back your debts over time.
Payment method: Online only through the MinLaw eServices portal
Important: You must pay on time every month. Late payments may result in failure from DRS.
Before you start
You will need:
● Your DRS Case Reference number OR your NRIC number
● A credit or debit card for payment
● Internet access to use the online payment portal
Your monthly payment amount: Please refer to the email that the OA has emailed you.
Payment due date: 30th day of each month
Step 1: Go to the payment website
1. Visit the MinLaw eServices portal: https://eservices.mlaw.gov.sg/ecoll/
2. Read the terms and conditions carefully
3. Click the "Agree" button to continue
Step 2: Select your payment type
4. Look for "Debt Repayment Scheme" in the list of services
5. Click on "Debt Repayment Scheme"
6. Select "DRS Payment by Debtor" from the options
Step 3: Enter your details
7. Enter your identification:
○ Type in your DRS Case Reference number OR
○ Type in your NRIC number
8. Click "Proceed”
9. Check that your case details appear correctly
Step 4: Choose what to pay
10. Select "Monthly Instalment" from the payment options
11. Do NOT select "Annual Fees"
12. Check that the payment amount shows your correct monthly instalment: Amount: $X
13. Key in your name in the “Payer’s Name”
14. Click "Add to Cart"
15. Click “Checkout”
16. At the payment summary click “Proceed to pay”
17. Enter your email address at the “Payment Status Notification” field.
18. Select the preferred payment mode and click “pay”
Step 5: Make your payment
19. Choose your payment method:
○ Credit card (Visa, Mastercard)
○ Debit card
20. Enter your card details:
○ Cardholder name (exactly as shown on card)
○ Card number (16 digits)
○ Security code (CVV - 3 digits on back of card)
○ Expiry date (MM/YY)
○ Email address
21. Click "submit"
Step 6: Confirm your payment
22. Wait for the payment confirmation page to load
23. Save or print your receipt - you will need this as proof of payment
24. Write down your transaction reference number
25. Keep your receipt until your next payment is due
What happens after you pay
Processing time: Within 1-2 working days
Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation within 24 hours
Receipt: Keep your payment receipt and transaction number for your records
If you have problems with payment
Common issues and solutions:
Problem | Solution |
Card payment declined | Check card details are correct, ensure sufficient funds, contact your bank, try a different card |
Cannot find your case | Check NRIC/case number, ensure you are placed on the DRS (not just applied), contact IPTO |
Wrong payment amount showing | Do not proceed - contact IPTO immediately to verify correct amount |
Website not working | Try different browser, clear browser cache, try again later, contact eServices helpdesk |
Payment went through but no confirmation | Wait 24 hours for email, check spam folder, contact IPTO with transaction number |

Important reminders
● Pay on time: Late payments can result in failure from DRS

What if you miss a payment?
If you cannot make your monthly payment:
1. Contact IPTO immediately at 1800 2255 529
2. Explain your situation - temporary financial difficulty, loss of employment, medical emergency
3. Provide supporting documents if requested
4. Do not ignore the missed payment - this may result in failure from DRS
