Can a lawyer's certificate of registration ("CoR") be backdated?

No, for applications to the Legal Services Regulatory Authority ("LSRA") submitted for a new CoR for a lawyer, the CoR will be valid from the date it is issued by the LSRA, or a later date requested by the law practice in the application.
