How does a law corporation seek approval to amend provisions in its constitution?
Approval to amend provisions in the law corporation's constitution relating to or affecting the matters specified in the Second Schedule of the Legal Profession (Law Practice Entities) Rules 2015 should be sought by submitting an application to update via LSRA e-Services. Please upload a copy of the law practice's amended constitution (in Word format with tracked changes), with reasons for the proposed amendments, as a supporting document in the application.
Please note that your application may require more time to process if your constitution contains significant deviations from LSRA's specimen clauses and/or does not satisfy the legislative requirements.
