Can a bankrupt pawn his valuables?
Upon the making of the Bankruptcy Order, a bankrupt's assets vest in the trustee in bankruptcy without any further conveyance, assignment or transfer; and become divisible among his creditors.
The bankrupt is required to declare and surrender all valuables in his possession to the trustee in bankruptcy.
The trustee in bankruptcy will take the necessary actions to realise the valuables for the benefit of the creditors.
