Is there an expiry date for an exemption granted by the Ministry of Law for admission to the Singapore Bar?
Applicants who have been exempted for admission to the Singapore Bar or in relation to the Foreign Practitioner Examinations are advised to take the necessary next steps (e.g. apply for admission to the Singapore Bar or take the Foreign Practitioner Examinations) as soon as possible, as applicable requirements may change over time.
Applicants are reminded that their exemption may be granted, subject to such conditions as the Minister may think fit to impose, which may include the requirement that applicants apply for admission to the Singapore within a specified time frame.
