Disruption may be granted within the first 6 months of enlistment for GCE A level NSFs to repeat their studies on a full-time basis. Disruption will not be granted to NSFs who have already obtained their first education bar to improve their result or had been deferred to repeat their GCE A levels prior to enlistment.

For eligible NSFs repeating their first education bar studies at private institutions, disruption will only be granted if the Private Education Institute (PEI) is registered with the Council for Private Education (CPE).
