Disruption will not be granted to GCE 'O'/'N' level NSFs to pursue diploma studies if they have already enlisted for full-time NS. The deferment cut-off age for GCE 'O' level students (19 years old as at 1 Jan of the course commencement year) and GCE 'N' level students (20 years old as at 1 Jan of the course commencement year) provides sufficient opportunities for them to pursue polytechnic studies before enlistment.
