Why is disruption no longer applicable to ITE students who had applied to pursue Polytechnic diploma or equivalent qualification prior to enlistment, and were not successful?
ITE graduates who wish to pursue Polytechnic diploma or equivalent qualifications should apply for deferment as well as the courses that they are interested in pursuing prior to enlistment. Otherwise, they will be scheduled for enlistment upon completion of their current course. For those who were not successful in any of their course applications prior to enlistment, they will be allowed one additional year of deferment should they wish to apply again in the following year. If they are still unsuccessful in any of their course applications in the second year, they will be scheduled for enlistment as soon as possible.
