What are the punishments for repeated offender?
Recalcitrant defaulters may face heavier fines, custodial sentences or a court martial. If the defaulter is unable to pay the fine, the Disciplinary Officers (DO) may order detention in lieu of payment within reasonable time, based on prevailing guidelines. The detention may take effect on any date and shall be terminated upon full payment of the original fine.
