Updated by MINDEF It is advisable to bring a copy of your Service Injury Card to allow the processing of the medical bill by the hospital. If you are unable to do so, the hospital may make a copy of your Service Injury card for the doctor's certification, before the signed copy is submitted and processed by the hospital's billing office. Please take note that the first consultation fee at the Specialist Outpatient Clinic will not be subsidised if you visit the Specialist without a referral from an SAF Medical Officer or a polyclinic doctor, or you have lapsed the last visit by a year.
