What is the purpose of the Medical Board?

Upon the receipt and clearance of your Disability Assessment Report, your case will be submitted to the SAF Permanent Disability Board.  The Board will assess the degree of permanent disability that your Specialist has recommended before endorsing it. The endorsed Board outcome will be forwarded to MINDEF/SAF HR Shared Services Centre (HRSSC) for the processing of your disability compensation.
