If I am overseas for study or work commitment, do I need to take Individual Physical Proficiency Test (IPPT)?

Updated by MINDEF

If you are overseas for:

- Less than 12 months: You are still required to take Individual Physical Proficiency Test (IPPT), failing which you will be deemed as a defaulter.

- 12 months or more: You will have to apply for an Exit Permit on OneNS. Once approved, your disruption from NS will be processed and you do not have to take your IPPT for the window in which you are disrupted.
