Updated by MINDEF NSmen who are full-time students in private education institutions registered with the Committee for Private Education (CPE) will be considered for deferment. "Full-time studies" refers to courses that are conducted 5 days per week with at least 3 hours of contact hours per day for at least 1 month.If an NSman has genuine difficulty in attending the ICT (e.g. examinations), he can submit a deferment application, which will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
