My son has yet to attend the pre-enlistment medical screening. He has medical condition(s) and I don't think he is able to serve NS. What should I do?
Your son is first required to register for National Service. After which, he will need to attend the pre-enlistment medical screening to assess his medical fitness for NS. Please bring along all of his medical reports on the day of his pre-enlistment medical screening for the Medical Officer to review. If he is unable to report due to his medical condition, you may submit the medical documents via email to contact@ns.gov.sg for assessment, before the pre-enlistment medical screening. All medical information declared will be reviewed by the Medical Officer at the Medical Classification Centre (MCC). The assessment will be conducted based on the Medical Classification Guidelines and on a case by case basis.
