Updated by MINDEF Please proceed to the Immigrations and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) to renounce your SPR status. If you are currently serving full-time National Service (NS), there are additional procedures to complete before you are allowed to renounce your SPR. Please notify your unit supervisor of your intention to renounce SPR. Do note that renouncing one's SPR status without serving NS has an adverse impact on one's immediate and future application to work, study or live in Singapore. Contact us
