Why am I being asked to indicate my interest for vocations as part of the pre-enlistment processes and not later? (E.g. after enlistment, after medical fitness grading)
The pre-enlistment process is designed to gather pre-enlistee information necessary for the purpose of deploying pre-enlistees to the three Uniformed Services, Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) or Singapore Police Force (SPF). Vocational interest, like the other information (e.g. medical fitness), needs to be gathered before enlistment.
