How would indicating vocational interest influence the pre-enlistment process?
Pre-enlistees indicate their vocational interest as part of a common set of procedures before enlistment into the three Uniformed Services, the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) or Singapore Police Force (SPF). Your full-time National Service (NS) deployment will take into consideration your indicated interest, along with other considerations such as the manpower and operational requirements of the three Uniformed Services, your medical fitness and your suitability to perform the requisite tasks and responsibilities of each vocation.
