A base NS Pay of $1,600 per month will be paid to ensure NSmen are adequately compensated when they attend ORNS activities. You are eligible for the base NS Pay if you are unemployed or a student. You will receive the higher of your Service Pay or the base NS Pay pro-rated based on the duration of your ORNS activity. The base NS pay is not applicable for IPPT, NS FIT and mobilisation.
