Apart from loss of income, private-hire drivers can also claim for car rental expenses, as it is deemed as fixed expenses that continue to be incurred during the ORNS activity.You are required to provide supporting documents if you are claiming for additional car rental expenses, as such details are not available from your trade income retrieved from IRAS.You may upload these documents on the eService when viewing your auto-computed MUP amount.The auto-generated amount will be automatically paid within 10 working days from the start of ORNS activity. If the supporting documents show your car rental expenses, the associated amounts will be paid subsequently, in a second tranche.
