What type of courses does the Home Team Academy offer? What courses do officers go through?

The Home Team Academy (HTA) offers a wide range of training programmes for officers at all levels. These include:

• Cross-cutting programmes that strengthen capabilities across the Home Team;
• Foundational and developmental programmes that support civilian officers in their career growth;
• Leadership programmes; and
• Specialist programme in areas such as crisis management, and adult learning.

These programmes equip officers with the skills and knowledge needed to operate effectively in areas such as joint operations, leadership, crisis management, emergency preparedness and communications, while strengthening their understanding of the Home Team and broader operating environment.

HTA’s courses are generally open only to Home Team officers.
