What opportunities are given to Secondary school students in the performing arts CCAs?

Besides the biennial SYF Arts Presentation, students in the Performing Arts CCA have many platforms where they are involved in different ways, besides performance. For example, students may be involved in production, choreography and leading sections in practices and rehearsals. Platforms are internal and external school events such as Founder’s Day, MGS Sunday at CCMC, Student Leaders’ Investiture, public performances with VIA partners to reach out to the community.
Under the guidance of our experienced instructors, they also get to take part in competitions and when they are at their peak , they may be sent for external MOE courses such as the conductor’s course, to hone their skills.
