MEP aims to nurture students who are musically-inclined. It is a 4-year programme leading to the O-level Higher Music examination. MEP students studying in MGS enjoy a MOE subsidy of $200 per month for Independent School fees. If the student is on ESIS scholarship, only 1 subsidy can be applied.
