The total fund-raising expenses of a charity or IPC for each financial year must not exceed 30% of the total receipts from fund-raising and sponsorships for that financial year. This rule is applicable to charities and IPCs, in relation to fund-raising for both local and foreign charitable, benevolent or philanthropic purposes.
